Pikkie Paradys is an Afrikaans, Christian-based school. We focus on each child’s individual needs. We strive to give your child the best education possible. We have a passion for children and our goals are to equip our infants with knowledge, love, independence, confidence, discipline and to send them as well-balanced children in the world.
Our nursery school offers your child a stimulating and interesting environment that promotes carefree play. Your child’s imagination is given free rein and in this way creative ideas, solutions and approaches are formed and empower your child to play. The play phase of any child’s development is crucial. The attitude and authority of the home is expanded and supplemented here, creating a second home for your most precious possessions where he or she is always important.
Pikkie Paradys’s motto is: “A paradise for every toddler” and our goal is to equip children with “deep roots and strong wings”.
As a nursery school, it is a privilege for you to become part of your little one’s education and to welcome you to our school. At Pikkie Paradys we assure you of our dedicated involvement with your little one and strive to do just the best for your child at all times.
We boast a very well appointed baby / toddler section. Our pre-primary phase and grade R (the year they turn 6) are very close to our heart and we prepare our toddlers to easily join any school.
In our pre-primary department (3-4 / 4-5 / 5-6 year olds) we have qualified teachers. We follow a pre-planned program with the little ones that lead to the successful development of knowledge, skills, values and attitudes.
We are proud to say that our school also has a sick bay with a trained ECP (emergency care practioner). Children who are different are placed under her supervision, parents are contacted, medication is administered with your consent and small items can be collected as soon as parent arrangements can be made at their work. Our teachers do their first aid courses every 2 years and ensure that they stay on top of situations.
